Our Story
GEM MANAGERS was founded in November 2021 and formally incorporated under Skyseeker Research Private Limited in April 2022.
The idea began during the first wave of COVID-19, when we observed a major gap in the government procurement ecosystem. Businesses of every size — from large enterprises to MSMEs — were registered on GeM, but many were unable to convert that registration into meaningful business.
The issue was not always lack of product, pricing or capability. The deeper issue was lack of visibility.
Most sellers do not know:

which competitors are winning
what price points are working
how to build a consistent participation strategy
As a result, many businesses operate far below their actual market potential.
The Original Problem
Government procurement is one of the largest business opportunities in India, but for most sellers it remains fragmented, confusing and reactive.
Registration alone does not create business
A seller may be registered on GeM, but growth requires category understanding, buyer mapping, bid discipline, compliance readiness, pricing intelligence and regular participation.
The inactivity gap still exists
A large number of sellers registered on GeM remain inactive or underactive because they do not have the process, data or handholding required to compete seriously. Today more than 90% sellers are inactive on GeM. We do not want you to be in that list.
In 2025, we expanded our efforts beyond consulting and started educating sellers more actively. Through our GeM training initiatives, 175+ learners have already been trained and introduced to a more structured way of understanding GeM business.

Our Founder - Karandeep Nagpal
Karandeep Nagpal is the founder of GEM MANAGERS and Skyseeker Research Private Limited. He is a B.Tech and MBA graduate who has spent 7+ years working deeply in and around the government procurement ecosystem, including GeM. The first few years went into learning the system, and the idea was conceptualized in November 2021.
Personally, he is a numbers person, which helps the team at GEM MANAGERS combine data analysis, RFP design, tender intelligence and seller-side consulting. Over the years, he has worked closely with sellers, OEMs, resellers, service providers and businesses trying to scale their government sales channel.
He strongly believes that government procurement rewards preparation, process and persistence. Businesses that treat GeM strategically perform better than those who treat it casually.
